Craft Beer Stops

Three Creeks Brewing

This impressive brewery crafts specialty beers with the finest local ingredients right from the heart of Sisters. You can tour their 10-barrel brewing system, sample their beers on-site in the bar, and enjoy good eats in their full-service restaurant. They even have games of cornhole, horseshoes, and washer toss, for when you start feeling invincible. Enjoy “hopp-ee hour” every weekday from 3 to 6 p.m. for discounted beer and yummy appetizers.

Three Creeks Brewing is just south of downtown Sisters on Hwy 20. Any of our Sisters vacation rentals would be a prime location for easy access to the facility.

Hop In The Spa

Have you ever tasted a beer so good you wanted to bathe in it? Well, here’s your chance! Hop in The Spa is America’s first beer spa and they offer a range of services designed to make you “hoppy” (get it?). Enjoy a relaxing Microbrew soak in their luxurious cedar tubs or wind down with a hop oil massage – all while sipping on a selection of delicious brews from the Deschutes Brewery. The benefits of their exclusive hop hydrotherapy include skin rejuvenation, stress reduction, and muscle pain relief, among others. It all combines for a naturally intoxicating experience.

Our fabulous Pine Street Cottage is two blocks away from Hop In The Spa and close to downtown Sisters. Experience the best of both worlds with spectacular mountain views from right inside the city.

Hop & Brew

This popular stop is known for having the best craft beer selection on tap in central Oregon. Enjoy close to 30 local brews while you munch on their handmade artisan pizzas or toasted sandwiches. Their eclectic beer list includes a range of IPAs, flavored ciders like vanilla or pineapple, and even on-tap kombucha (tea fermented with sugar and yeast). They also offer growler fills and sales for your beer lovers on the go.

Hop & Brew is located right in the heart of downtown Sisters. Our Fish Inn Bike Inn rental is an historic three-bedroom cottage with old-school charm, and it’s within walking distance of the city center (and the Hop & Brew).

Craft Beer Events

Zwickelmania

This annual event is something like the world’s best pub-crawl – but with breweries. Every year in February, breweries across central Oregon open their doors to the public for tours, beer tastings, food pairings and meet-and-greets; many of those breweries are located close to Sisters. The event is free and open to the public and often runs for two consecutive weekends, so be sure to book your trip appropriately. The 2020 dates haven’t been announced yet, so be sure to follow their Facebook for regular updates.

Sisters Fresh Hop Festival

If you’re in the mood to test your palette, the Sisters Fresh Hop Festival at Three Creeks Brewing is the place for you. This annual event features fresh-hopped beers from more than 20 of the finest breweries in Oregon, all for your sipping pleasure. There’s also live music, food trucks, and activities that are fun for the whole family (but not the beer tasting. 21+ in the beer tent, please). The best part? They always partner with local charities. This year’s proceeds will go to the Ronald McDonald House of Oregon. $15 will get you five pints or buy a taste for $1 each.

This year’s festival will be held on September 28, 2019. These unique beers can only be created during the harvest season, so it’s the perfect excuse to plan a fall getaway beercation. Book your ideal vacation rental with any of our private homes or condos located inside of Sisters to be close to the action.

Bend Ale Trail

Located just 30 minutes outside of Sisters, Bend is known as Beertown, USA. This tiny town has more breweries per capita than any other city in Oregon and are so proud of the title that they’ve created the ultimate beer scavenger hunt. Tour and taste your way through 18 breweries and get your official Bend Ale Trail passport stamped at each location to receive some sweet commemorate souvenirs. Most of the breweries are within walking distance of town, but they do offer guided tours complete with transportation for your convenience (so you don’t have to worry about getting a DD). If you make the trek in November – the trail’s official month – you’ll also get the title of Bend Ale Trail Champion.

Bend is a short, 30-minute drive from the town of Sisters – perfect for a scenic drive or a convenient Uber lift. Check out our quiet, picturesque locations outside of Sisters for a break from the bustle of city life.
