Without a doubt, one of the best parts of vacationing is the food. Being away from your home is the perfect excuse to spend each meal at a different restaurant, sampling the best dishes an area has to offer. In Sisters, you’ll have plenty of choices on your plate, but be sure to save room for the newest restaurant making a delicious buzz – The Sister’s Depot.

This new Sisters staple was recently opened by long-time friends and business partners Deb Yannariello and Eryn Ross. It’s located right downtown, offering a place where locals and visitors can gather together over delicious meals and specialty spirits. Surrounded by lush greenery and artsy aesthetics, the charming outdoor courtyard is a perfect setting for listening to live music while enjoying the local vibe.

The menu offers a fresh twist on American dining by offering Southern-Inspired dishes prepared by notable chef Ian Overmier. They use fresh, locally sourced ingredients to craft such favorites as scratch-made soups, thick Porterhouse Steaks, and spicy Pimento Cheese dip. Homestyle sides like collard greens and hush puppies round out a menu full of cozy comfort foods.

Having previously built a successful wine bar from the ground-up, Deb and Eryn know a thing or two about selecting spirits. Fourteen rotating taps feature eight beers, two ciders, and four wines, each poured from an advanced dispensing system and eco-friendly casks. They work closely with Pacific Northwest Wineries, offering unique blends and single vineyard options that you often can’t find anywhere else.

Deb and Eryn have successfully captured the flavor of Sisters with their new venture. Be sure to save room in your schedule – and your belly – to stop by The Sisters Depot for lunch or dinner!
