Annual Christmas Parade and Santa Visit

November 26 @ 2 p.m.

Hood Avenue

 

On Saturday, head over to Hood Avenue for the Sisters Annual Christmas Parade to see local groups and organizations present custom floats and performances in a fun holiday theme. It’s a fun celebration of all things Christmas, topped off by the arrival of Santa Claus himself! After the parade, bring the kids to the Chamber of Commerce for a special meet-and-greet with their jolly hero in the flesh. Santa loves Sisters – and you’ll love celebrating the holidays here, too!

 

The Ugly Christmas Sweater Fun Run and Walk

December 3 @ 10 a.m.

Fir Street Park

 

Don your ugliest holiday sweater and race to the finish at this festive family event! Now in its second year, the annual Ugly Sweater run begins at Fir Street Park and completes a full 5K through the heart of Sisters (don’t worry, you won’t be timed.) All donations support local charities and prizes will go to the race winners (and the ugliest sweater). The fun starts with hot cocoa and ends with free beer at The Barn, so be sure to head over and kick off the holiday season in Sisters style!

 

Christmas Day Dinner at Robert’s Pub

Gather together with your Sisters family for a cheerful holiday meal. Robert’s Pub, a seasonal restaurant at Black Butte Ranch, will host a family dinner this Christmas Day where guests can enjoy a fine meal and great holiday specials. Reservations are required.

 

Family Carriage Rides

December 27-31, 11a.m. to 3p.m.

An old-fashioned carriage ride is a wonderful way to get in the holiday spirit. Soak in the fresh, snowy air and clear mountain views as you take a scenic 30-minute ride through the backcountry of Black Butte Ranch. Guests can reserve a single seat for $12 or a full and private family ride for $120.

 

 

New Years Eve Snowball Dance & Firework Show

December 31 @ 9 p.m.

HooDoo Ski

 

Ring in the new year at HooDoo’s annual New Years’ Eve Party! Enjoy live music, food, and a complimentary firework show. If you’ve never seen fireworks reflected brilliantly off the mountain snow, you’re in for a treat – Oregon style! The bar and restaurant will be open through the midnight countdown.
