National Play Outside Day occurs on the first Saturday of every month and encourages everyone to enjoy some time and fun activities outdoors.  After all, there are few things better than the great outdoors (it’s right there in the name). And as a mecca of outdoor adventure, Sisters takes our time outside seriously–but not too seriously. We’re ready to get our play on with some fun activities that can only be done Sisters-style. Exploring the Three Sisters Wilderness

First up, let’s talk about our town’s crowning jewel: the Three Sisters Wilderness. Spend the day on a leisurely hike through lush Douglas-fir forests, alpine meadows, ancient lava fields and glacial lakes.
