Cool Places to Shop till You Drop in Sisters, Oregon

 Every great vacation needs a bit of retail therapy. In the mountain town of Sisters, Oregon, boutique shops and specialty stores offer the chance to shop ‘til you drop for unique gifts, artisanal goods, trip souvenirs and more. Many of them line our charming downtown streets, where you can stroll in and out of stores at your leisure, take a mid-day break for lunch, and grab a cup of gourmet coffee for a needed pick-me-up. 

Whether you’re looking for something special or just love the thrill of a shopping day done right, here are the coolest places to shop in Sisters. 

Our first stop is at Paulina Springs Books, an independent bookstore nestled right in the heart of Sisters on Hood Avenue. This gem is the perfect stop for all book lovers, boasting a wide selection of titles from bestsellers to obscure finds. You can also find an array of unusual gifts and regional pieces that capture the spirit of Sisters to a T. 

Next, head over to The Hen’s Tooth to shop everything from specialty souvenirs and unique gifts to trendy fashion and tasty treats. Family-owned and curated to perfection, this popular downtown shop has been a Sisters staple since 1978 and remains one of the top shopping spots in town.  Also be sure to grab a pair of their famous world’s best tweezers!

Just a block away, Bedouin is a boutique store full of one-of-a-kind finds. Browse an eclectic mix of high-end and handmade items, from clothing and jewelry to home decor, local artwork, bath products and more. 

Foodies will love checking out the culinary treasures at Sisters Olive and Nut Company, which specializes in unique food products made across the state. They’re known for their selection of gourmet olives (choose from over 30 varieties!) and flavored nuts, but you’ll also find a variety of local sauces, fruit preserves, baked goods and pickled veggies. Can’t decide? Free samples are offered daily! 

Next up, Dixie’s is the place to shop for true Sisters style. Its western-themed collection includes men’s and women’s attire, accessories, handbags and home decor. From cowboy hats and cowhide rugs to handbags, boots, and jewelry, it’s a can’t-miss western wonderland. 

Finally, you can’t shop in Sisters without making a stop at The Stitchin’ Post. Home of the world-famous Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, it has supplies and inspiration for all kinds of crafters. Browse unique fabrics, crafting kits, patterns, books, and tools of all types. 

 Sisters Vacation Rentals offers a wide range of rentals close to downtown, keeping you close to the shops (but away from the crowds). In addition, Ina 2-bedroom condo just a few blocks from downtown, you can enjoy upscale amenities and mountain views between shopping trips and outdoor attractions.
