Take a step back in time and see classic cars of all makes and styles on July 16, 2016 at the Sisters Glory Daze Car Show in downtown Sisters. From muscle cars to ladies’ cars to hot rods, the streets of Sisters will be rolling with beautiful cars from the past.

Garden and quilt lovers alike will enjoy the 19th Annual Garden & Home Tour on July 7, 2016. This event has become a highlight for many who come for Quilter’s Affair week of the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show.

Fall is a beautiful time to visit Sisters and Central Oregon. Enjoy the change of seasons by bike or hike. Warm days and cool nights are perfect for your outdoor adventures and activities. And including the Sisters Fresh Hops Brew Festival is a great excuse to make a weekend of it.

With two dozen Oregon breweries confirmed, 45+ beers, and live music in the heart of Sisters, it’s sure to be a good time. Admission is free and open to all, although you have to be 21+ to enjoy the brew.

If you’ve visited Sisters Bakery a few times on your visit and indulged in one too many craft brews at Three Creeks brewing, you might be up for a more challenging hike. Black Butte is just what the doctor ordered.

The Hike

This rewarding, moderately difficult hike begins about half way up the butte. It is a 1.9 mile hike fairly straight up, gaining 1,600 feet of elevation. The distance is 3.8 miles round trip to the headlands tip.

If hiking in the mountains sounds a bit daunting to the less outdoorsy folks in your group, Suttle Lake Loop might just be the answer. This easy-access loop is the perfect place to get hikers of all ages out to experience the splendor of the great outdoors.

Located in Western Jefferson County just five miles east of the Santiam Pass and about 13 miles west of Sisters on Highway 20/22, Suttle Lake is a quick drive from Sisters for a short adventure but there’s plenty to do to make a full day of it.
